Lesson Overview

Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

In this week鈥檚 Gospel passage, John the Baptist reveals to his followers the Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. John makes clear that he came to prepare the way for Jesus who will baptize not just with water, but with the Holy Spirit. In this lesson students will compare Jesus, the Lamb of God, to the first Passover lamb.
