Lesson Overview

Fifth Sunday of Easter

In this week’s Gospel passage, Jesus gives His disciples a new commandment: love one another as I have loved you. In fact, He tells them that they will be known as His disciples by their love. In this lesson, students will reflect upon times they have loved others and times they have received love and then consider ways in which they can love more like Christ loves us.

  2. Review and discuss the answers to the Focus and Reflection Questions when students have finished.
  3. Have students complete the "Love One Another as I have Loved You" activity.
  4. When students have finished the "Love One Another as I have Loved You"聽activity, have students share and discuss the various ways they can love more like Jesus.
