Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time

In this week鈥檚 Gospel passage, Jesus gives a parable to teach His Apostles about the importance of persistence in prayer. In this lesson, students will explore some sayings of the saints about prayer and apply this wisdom to their own lives.

A. Have your students read the Gospel passage for the week and complete the focus questions.

B. Review and discuss the answers when they have completed the focus questions.

C. Have your students read and complete the Pray Always activity.

D. When complete, have your students share with a partner their responses. Then, call on a few students to share with the class.

  1. The necessity of praying always without becoming weary.
