  • Ascension
    :
    The Ascension is Jesus’ return to Heaven in His glorified body 40 days after His Resurrection. In Heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father in all His glory.
  • Pentecost
    :
    Pentecost is the day, 50 days after Jesus’ Resurrection, when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit upon Mary and the Apostles, who were emboldened to go out and proclaim the Gospel to the world.
  • Gifts of the Holy Spirit
    :
    The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are seven gifts of grace given to us in an outpouring of the Holy Spirit at our Baptism and again in Confirmation. They make us more like Christ and help us to respond to the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives. They are wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, fortitude, piety, and fear of the Lord.
