  • Typology
    :
    The study of how a person or thing in the Old Testament foreshadows or prefigures the fulfillment of God’s plan in the person of Christ. The earlier person or thing is a “type” for person or thing in the New Testament.
  • Type
    :
    Something in Salvation History that foreshadows or points forwards to a later thing in Salvation History. In the story of the sacrifice of Isaac, Isaac foreshadows Jesus Christ.
  • Moral Evil
    :
    An objectively evil act that a person commits. The rejection and murder of God’s only Son is the greatest moral evil ever committed.
