Retreat Overview

We are excited to spend two days with Principals in the Diocese of Fresno diving into the themes found in the book: Remain in Me and I in You: Relating to God as a Person, Not an Idea by Father Wayne Sattler. We will explore and reflect on knowing God, loving God, and serving God.

This retreat blends presentations with interactive sessions, giving you a chance to explore content from the best-selling book as well as spend time in prayer, reflection and small group discussion.

    Enjoy a presentation reflecting on the first theme of the book “Remain in Me”.

    Lectio Divina and Small Group Discussion

    Pray with a passage from one of the Gospels and reflect with your colleagues on the themes from the first presentation.

    Knowing God

    Enjoy a presentation reflecting on the second theme in the book.

    Coming to Know God Through Beauty

    Pray with and reflect on a variety of sacred art images and discuss your observations and reflections with your colleagues.

    Loving God

    Enjoy a presentation reflecting on the third theme in the book.
