Workshop Overview
Explore the roots of the Church’s liturgical year and how you can lead your students to appreciate and live it throughout the year. You will explore activities to implement in your classroom throughout the six seasons of the liturgical year: Advent, Christmas, Lent, Sacred Pascal Triduum, Easter, and Ordinary Time.
This Workshop blends scholar presentations with interactive pedagogical sessions, giving you a chance to explore content with a respected scholar, as well as explore and simulate practical teaching strategies with ready-to-use classroom materials. Share best practices and enjoy catered breakfast and lunch with your fellow Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston religion coordinators.
