Why apologetics
Help students keep the Faith they’ve been given.
Many young people walk away from the Church because no one answered their questions. Magis Apologetics gives students the evidence and reasoning to see that faith, science, and reason work together, and the confidence to explain it to others.
- Scientific and philosophical evidence for God’s existence
- The historicity of Jesus’ miracles and Resurrection
- Thoughtful answers to suffering, moral questions, and today’s toughest topics
- Primary sources, Scripture, sacred art, and stories of the saints

Written by Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J., Ph.D.
President and co-founder of the Magis Center and former president of Gonzaga University, Fr. Spitzer has spent decades showing how faith and reason point to the same truth.
The Subcommittee on the Catechism, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, has found Apologetics I and Speak the Faith to be in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
