Units
This unit introduces the role of parents in education, Christian fellowship, and provides a program introduction. In this unit, parents learn about how God made us in His image and likeness. He calls us to love Him and love one another. This unit delves into what it means that God created human beings male and female, and begins an exploration of God's plan for complementarity in marriage. This unit explores the nature and holiness of Jesus. Families will consider ways that we can be more like Him. Families learn about the universal call to holiness, and how each person is called to make a life-long gift of self in the vocations to marriage, to the priesthood, and to religious life. In this unit, families explore what being made in God's image means for living a moral life, along with the meanings of grace, virtue, and truth. This unit explores Catholic Social Teaching and the social nature of human beings. In this unit, families learn how to cultivate lives of prayer in relationship with God, and more about how the structure of the Catholic Church helps us on our journey to sainthood. This month includes opportunities for a content review, a guest speaker, and a final game to close out the year.
