Overview
Children learn what the Catholic Church is, who the Holy Spirit is and how He guides Her, and what it means that Jesus continues His mission through Her.
Units
In this unit, we learn about the Trinity, and how Jesus came into the world to save us from our sins. In this unit, we learn from the stories and miracles of Jesus about the Kingdom of God and what we must do to enter it. In this unit, we learn from Jesus' parables and actions what it means to love ourselves, our neighbor, and our world. We also look at Mary's own sterling example. In this unit, we see how Christ founded the Church and how it goes about continuing His mission to save souls. This Unit examines the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Penance, and anointing of the sick. We also learn how Mary is our mother to conclude the year.
