In this unit, we learn about the Blessed Sacrament. We see its roots in the Old Testament, and its fulfillment in the New Testament. We learn that the mass is the memorial of His death and that it truly changes the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. Lastly, we see how communion nourishes us and how we should prepare to receive Christ properly for our first communion.
