Parable: A short story that uses characters or situations that we can relate to in order to teach us a deeper lesson. Parables help to explain something in a way that is easier for us to understand. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God using parables.
Image and Likeness: The quality of possessing, like God, the ability to reason, free will, and the ability to love. Human beings are made in the image and likeness of God.
Free Will: Free Will is the power of the soul that make choices and acts upon them.
Steward: Someone who takes care of something for someone else. We are stewards of God’s creation.
Reason: The ability to know and understand the world around us, ourselves, and our Creator. God made human beings with this ability.
