  • Kingdom
    :
    A kingdom is the place where a king rules.
  • Kingdom of Heaven (Kingdom of God)
    :
    God’s reign, or rule, over all things. During His public ministry, Jesus proclaimed that the Kingdom of God was at hand. The Church is the seed, or beginning, of the Kingdom here on earth. The Kingdom will be fulfilled in Heaven.
  • Parable
    :
    A short story that uses characters or situations that we can relate to in order to teach us a deeper lesson. Parables help to explain something in a way that is easier for us to understand. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God using parables.
  • Disciple
    :
    A disciple is a student or follower. Jesus had many disciples.
