Parents teach their children in this lesson that God calls every baptized person to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect, and to live a fully Christian life. This call and our response to it is our vocation to holiness. All of us are called to be saints. Throughout our lives and assisted by the Church, we live out our call to holiness when we love as Jesus loves us, and follow His example and His teaching, especially His Great Commandments.
