The prophets were men and women who were called by God to experience deeply God’s saving presence in the historical situation of their times and who were given a mission to make known the message of God’s saving power.
Jesus fulfills the priesthood of the Old Testament and of Melchizedek by offering Himself on the Cross for the sins of all.

The Bible is organized into the Old Testament and the New Testament. There are 46 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament.
Scripture is proclaimed at every Mass.
We can know God’s love from the beauty of creation.
