Jesus invites us to become His disciples and follow Him by imitating His example, praying as He prays, and serving as He serves.
God sent His Son into the world to save us from sin by His Death and Resurrection.
The Risen Christ is truly Jesus; His body still bears the marks of His Passion, yet He has been changed and now possesses a glorified body, filled with the Holy Spirit and showing forth the full power of God.
We are called to enter the Kingdom of God as a disciple of Jesus.
We are Gods children and are made in His image and likeness.
The proclamation of the Kingdom of God was the primary theme of Jesus earthly ministry.
Jesus public ministry began with His Baptism.
Baptism makes us adopted children of God and incorporates us into the Mystical Body of Christ – His Church
The proclamation of the Kingdom of God (or the Kingdom of Heaven) was the central message of Christs public ministry.
The aim of this lesson is for your children to discover that we are called to journey along the path of Life in Christ toward Heaven. The Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and the teaching of the Apostles act as signs that lead us to Heaven. Your children will also learn about the Ten Commandments and how the Beatitudes fulfill the Ten Commandments and are the heart of Jesus’ teaching.
The aim of this lesson is for your children to understand that Jesus Christ came to bring healing to both our bodies and our souls. It was His desire that, through the ministry of his Church, spiritual and physical healing would continue to be available for all of time.
Jesus came to seek out the lost and offer them forgiveness and salvation from sin.
Jesus is priest, prophet, and king.
The Church seeks to gather all persons together for the sake of their salvation and to be part of God’s Kingdom as one people, one Body of Christ.
