The aim of this lesson is for your children to understand that in order to have a relationship with God, we must pray. Prayer is a gift from God. He is the one who always initiates the call to prayer, and our prayer is a response to His call. Only in humility can we open ourselves to the gift of prayer. God the Father dwells in the innermost depths of our hearts, and so when we pray, we are developing an intimate relationship with Him.
