The Church Is a Sign of God’s Love

The Church seeks to gather all persons together for the sake of their salvation and to be part of God’s Kingdom as one people, one Body of Christ.

Incarnation: The dogma of the Church that teaches that the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Son of God, assumed a human nature in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Kingdom of Heaven (Kingdom of God): (Also called the Kingdom of Heaven) God’s reign or rule over all things. The Church is the seed, or beginning, of the Kingdom here on earth. The Kingdom will be fulfilled in Heaven. (1060, 1725, 1726, 2556, 2857)
Parable: A parable is a short story that uses earthly things to reveal spiritual, heavenly truths. To understand parables, we must listen with the ears of faith.
