Session 6: God Made Us in His Image
Like Him, we can think, we can make choices, and we can love. God wants us to make loving choices.
Like Him, we can think, we can make choices, and we can love. God wants us to make loving choices.
God wants us to Love in the way the He loves.
God intentionally and deliberately created each one of us.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God. This was a bad choice.
The mystery of the Holy Trinity is that God is three Persons in one God.
God is love and He made us out of love.
We listen to and talk with God when we pray.
The world was made for the glory of God, to show it forth and communicate it.
We are God’s children and are made in His image and likeness.
The Persons of the Trinity are distinct from each other but are each fully God.
We can know God’s love from the beauty of creation.
To be made in God’s image and likeness means that we possess an intellect, free will, and a capacity for love.
To love God means to love our neighbor, which is a sign of being a disciple of Christ.
A saint is a holy person whom the Church has officially recognized as having practiced heroic virtue and lived a holy, faithful life worthy of imitation and who is in Heaven with God.
If we love God, we will take care of His creation.
