Laudato Si and the Acceptance of Our Bodies
Being good stewards of creation begins with accepting the gift of our own bodies and taking care of them. Our bodies, like all of creation, should be received as a gift and not manipulated, dominated and controlled.
God-Given, or My Choice?
God gives each human person dignity, whether or not that person recognizes that reality. And God gives all people their bodies, male and female, and says that they are good — even when we do not recognize our own goodness.
The Catholic Response to Transgenderism
Students encounter basic claims of transgender ideology, and learn how they contradict reality. Students will be provided strategies for encountering and accompanying trans-identifying friends or family members, without compromising truth or love.
God Made you a Girl or a Boy
Students learn about the beauty and goodness of God’s creation through the life of a bird and a boy named Joe. They will see that they are loved by God, who made them. While pretending to be something or someone else can be fun, it does not change who they are.
God Loves His Creation
Marriage is an icon of the Trinity’s self-giving love: the husband gives himself fully to his wife; the wife gives herself fully to her husband; the communion between them creates life. Love is a blessing and a share in the Lord’s divine life, and not a curse.
The Superpowers of Men and Women
The gifts God gives men are different than the gifts He gives women, but men and women are equal in dignity. God’s design of the male and female bodies, and His plan for them to come together in marriage, is so good and beautiful that it literally creates life.
