    Blessing and adoration is the form of prayer in which we tell God that we love Him because He is God our Father and we are His children.
  • Petition
    :
    Petition is the form of prayer in which we ask God for good things.
  • Intercession
    :
    Intercession is the form of prayer in which we ask God to help others.
  • Thanksgiving
    :
    Thanksgiving is the form of prayer in which we thank God for the good things He has given us.
  • Praise
    :
    To tell someone exactly what is good about him or her, or about something her or she has done. We praise God when we celebrate His goodness. We praise God when we thank Him with words or actions of joy.
  • Meditation
    :
    is an expression of prayer in which we use our minds and hearts to reflect on God and the things of God, often using spiritual reading from Scripture.
  • Contemplative Prayer
    :
    is an expression of prayer in which we sit with God in silence and allow Him to speak to us.
  • Grace
    :
    Grace is the free gift of God’s love and life in our souls that is given to us by the Holy Spirit.
  • Actual Grace
    :
    Actual grace is spiritual help from God in each moment of our lives to choose what is good and avoid what is evil.
  • Advocate
    :
    Someone who helps others in need. Mary is an advocate for us and takes our prayers to her son, Jesus, to answer.
