An apostle is one who is sent. Jesus called twelve men to be His Apostles.
Cornerstone

A cornerstone is a large, strong stone placed at the bottom corners of a building to make it stable. Jesus is called “the cornerstone” because He is the foundation of our entire Catholic Faith.
Shepherd
:
A shepherd is a person who tends and feeds a flock of sheep. Jesus is called the “Good Shepherd” because He loves us, cares for us, and leads us, just as a shepherd cares for and leads His flock.
